Just weeks after video surfaced of Sen. Ted Cruz’s father, Rafael, saying President Barack Obama should “go back to Kenya,” another clip has surfaced in which the Evangelical pastor slams black voters as “uninformed” and “deceived.”
The elder Cruz made the remarks in February during an address to his fellow conservative activists.
According to Huffington Post, the 74-year-old Tea Partier also attributes “all the civil rights” that African-Americans have achieved to Republicans.
“Let’s talk about the black population. All the civil rights that the African-Americans have obtained have come from Republicans,” Cruz said. “But you know what, Democrats took the credit.”
