A new trailer has been released for an upcoming documentary about the life of Doris Payne, a self-proclaimed international jewel thief.
The Life and Crimes of Doris Payne will tell Payne’s story through interviews, reenactments and archival materials.
The documentary is scheduled to play at this weekend’s Whitaker St. Louis International Film Festival.
The now-80-year-old claims to have stolen diamonds from around the world.
Halle Berry was reportedly cast to play Payne in a Hollywood adaptation.
