TODAY – It’s over! On Tuesday night, the ballroom battle came to an end on “Dancing With the Stars” when “Glee” actress Amber Riley was named the season 17 winner.

Amber nabbed the mirror-ball trophy after weeks of impressive performances and one last dance-floor showdown against fellow finalists Corbin Bleu and Jack Osbourne.

Jack took third place, while Corbin was still in it to win it until host Tom Bergeron announced the results at the end of the show.

But it wasn’t exactly a shock to see Amber waltz away with the win. Earlier in the night, it seemed obvious that she had an advantage with the home audience, as they voted for her to perform an encore of her Monday night freestyle. She was also the only hoofer hopeful to make it all the way through the two-part finale with nothing but perfect scores, from freestyle all the way to her spot-on samba-quickstep fusion.

Of course, Amber wasn’t the only winner of the night. Her win marked another victory for her pro partner, Derek Hough, who’s already celebrated four past mirror-ball wins — including last season’s first-place finish with Kellie Pickler.

Before the results were revealed, Amber shared high praise for her partner.

“To be with someone who doesn’t let you give up is an extreme blessing,” she said.

She had a lot more to say to her supporters after the results were known.

“I did this competition because I didn’t know if I could do it,” she explained while clinging close to Derek. “Anything that scares me I want to do. I want to let women of all sizes out there know you can do whatever you put your mind to. It doesn’t matter what size, what color you are. You can do whatever, whatever, whatever you put your mind to!’
