This week R&B songstress Ashanti joined an all-star line-up of performers including Mariah Carey, Toni Braxton, Babyface, Kelly Clarkson and Mary J. Blige for NBC Christmas in Rockefeller Center special.
In an interview with theGrio, Ashanti talked about her starring role as a vicious mall clerk in the upcoming Lifetime original movie, Christmas in the City, and also opened up about her love life.
When it comes to dating, the “Always on Time” singer said that it’s important that any man she dates can afford to take care of her.
“It’s important because I can take care of myself,” Ashanti said. “So I need someone that’s really confident and really secure in themselves, so that we both bring something to the table.”
