Singer and songwriter Ne-Yo believes anyone who has a platform to affect change should give back to their community.
This is why his Compound Foundation, an organization that focuses on helping young children, is close to his heart.
“It’s cliché, but kids truly are the future,” said Ne-Yo. “It starts at an early age.”
The Giving Tour takes Ne-Yo to four different cities in four days giving toys to those without the means to get their own.
From Harlem to LA, Las Vegas, and Atlanta, no one is left out.
“My music allows me to help and influence but I’d be doing this without my fame,” the multiple Grammy Award winner said. “It’s just in my nature.”
