Conservative rabble rouser Sarah Palin had an usual request for the president on Martin Luther King Day: “No more playing the race card.”

The former Alaska governor offered this unsolicited advice in a post on her Facebook page.

“Mr. President, in honor of Martin Luther King, Jr. and all who commit to ending any racial divide, no more playing the race card,” the 2008 Republican vice presidential candidate wrote.

Palin didn’t provide any specific examples of the president’s alleged racially charged rhetoric or actions.

She has previous accused the president of “shucking and jiving” and compared his policies to the institution of slavery.
