Media mogul Oprah Winfrey celebrates her 60th birthday today.
Even outside of her duties as a television personality, Oprah has used her work and her wealth to touch the lives of people in a variety of ways.
During an August 2013 interview with theGrio, Oprah opened up about her legacy saying, “Your legacy is what you do everyday. Your legacy is every life you’ve touched, every person who’s life was either moved or not. It’s every person you’ve harmed or helped, that’s your legacy. I don’t think about it. I just try to live it.”
