Pop star Justin Bieber isn’t feeling a lot of love these days from his adopted country.

On the heels of his recent arrest for drunk drag racing and reports that he’s been forced to surrender on assault charges stemming from an incident in Toronto last month, the 19-year-old Canadian singer has been the subject of increased criticism and hatred from the American public.

Now, a petition calling for his deportation has garnered over 100,000 signatures, which means it might require some acknowledgement from the White House, whether they like it or not.

The “We the People” petition calls on the executive branch to deport Bieber and revoke his green card. It was launched on January 23rd, the same day as his first highly publicized arrest, and has over 104,000 signees.

According to ABC News, “The White House reviews and usually responds to petitions that get more than 100,000 signatures within 30 days.”

“We’re getting down quite a rabbit hole here with Justin Bieber, but … I will check and see what the visa implications would be for anybody who is found of possibly violating the law,” said Jen Psaki, a State Department spokeswoman.
