Rapper DMX is finally speaking out about the reported celebrity boxing match taking place between him and George Zimmerman.

DMX, whose real name is Earl Simmons, spoke with FOX Carolina’s Cody Alcorn about the upcoming fight, which celebrity boxing promoter Damon Feldman is calling “one of the biggest celebrity boxing matches of all time.”

“Well, I was challenged,” DMX said. “You know, I still haven’t really decided if I would do it. But if I do it, the money going to him [Zimmerman] would have to go to charity.”

“I will gladly beat the sh** out of him,” he added. “When you fight with your heart, your always gonna win.”

Feldman tells theGrio’s he received over 15,000 emails from people and celebrities nationwide who want to fight Zimmerman in the right, including Lindsay Lohan’s father Michael Lohan, and rapper The Game.

“DMX is perfect person to take on Zimmerman,” Feldman said. “We are still finalizing details, but this fight is going to happen for sure.”

Feldman said the fight will take place March 15th in Philadelphia, and Zimmerman and DMX will stand-off in head to head press conference on March 13th or March 14th.

“DMX has promised to ‘beat his a**,’ but no contract or paperwork has been signed or agreed to yet,” DMX’s publicist, Domenick Nati said in a statement.
