New York Fashion Week would not be complete without Solange Knowles — veteran “It” girl, and sister of Beyoncé — making a big splash.
“Solange Knowles has been on our fashion radar for a long time,” one fashion-watching outlet observed, “her fearless use of prints and clashing colour always scoring her big style points, but it’s her New York Fashion Week wardrobe we’re squealing over right now. Ditching dry old black in favour of a rainbow of shades, Solange has stood out at Mercedes Fashion week for all the right reasons.”
She is complementing her string of colorful ensembles that perfectly capture her effervescent style with a series of striking new hairdos. After making headlines a few years ago by cropping her hair short and going natural, for Fall/Winter 2014 at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week in New York City, Ms. Knowles is taking her natural hair in new direction, trying a different hair style and hair color.
