Boone County, Ky. – A Northern Kentucky third-grader was home recovering Friday after getting medicine at school that was supposed to go to a classmate.

He had to be hospitalized overnight when he started feeling listless and his blood pressure dropped.

Dylan Davis is a typically active youngster, but is taking it slow for a while per doctor’s orders.

He said he was feeling a little better on Friday as he played a game on the living room floor with his sisters Laci and Kaci, something that would have been out of the question for Dylan 24-hours ago.

The 9-year-old student at Collins Elementary said he was mistakenly given medication when taken to the school nurse’s office.

According to his parents, the boy was given 10 milligrams of Adderall and 10 milligrams of Tenex.
