Luther Vandross was outed as gay after his death.

This is not a joke. R&B icon R. Kelly is planning a sequel to his 2013 Black Panties album, called White Panties.

“You can expect a whole other level,” the “Ignition (Remix)” singer told V Magazine in their Spring 2014 issue.

Kelly’s Black Panties received mixed reviews and was heavily criticized for its overtly sexual lyrics and imagery.

However, the Pied Piper of R&B is not planning on taming himself on the follow-up.

“It was really for my fans. Everyone has been asking me when I’m going to do another baby-making album, because that’s what started me out,” he said. “I’ve been all around the world musically, in every genre. I can write ‘I Believe I Can Fly’ and I can write ‘Bump ‘N’ Grind.’ Now is the time to bring it back around.”

The new album is going to include a duet with R&B diva Mary J. Blige.

“It’s a very exciting thing when two people like Mary and me come together,” he said. “I’m in the studio right now working on a song for me and Mary. I’m looking forward to proposing that we do a whole album together.”
