Ice Cube is riding high off the success of back-to-back blockbuster comedy roles in 21 Jump Street and Ride Along.

And it looks like his rising stock will lead to a return to one of his most popular franchises.

According to to Deadline.com, a third film in the Barbershop series is in the works.

Cube will again play barbershop proprietor  Calvin Palmer, but it’s not known yet whether the rest of the cast of regulars will join him. But Cedric the Entertainer and Queen Latifah are reportedly being pursued for the cast.

It’s been 10 years since the last Barbershop film. Barbershop 2: Back In Business made $65 million in 2004. The original Barbershop film was an even bigger breakout hit, taking in $75 million in 2002.

The films spawned a short-lived Showtime sitcom and a spin-off movie, BeautyShop, starring Latifah.

Next up for Cube will be sequels to both 21 Jump Street and Ride Along.
