Crystal Morrow helped save her own father’s life during her first day on the job as a 911 operator.

The Georgia dispatcher was just four hours into her first shift post-training last August when she received a call with a familiar voice, according to WAGA-TV.

The call was from Morrow’s aunt, who called 911 when her father went into diabetic shock.

“I did freeze. My hands froze over the keyboard, but I knew I had to get the call in,” says Morrow told WAGA-TV.

The supervisor who trained Morrow, Danielle Harvey, said, “she handled it well.”

Following the call, Harvey told Morrow to go see her family.
