'SNL' writer Michael Che to join 'The Daily Show' as correspondent

theGRIO REPORT - Comedian and Saturday Night Live writer Michael Che will be joining The Daily Show as the show's newest correspondent.

Comedian and Saturday Night Live writer Michael Che will be joining The Daily Show as the show’s newest correspondent.

The Comedy Central show announced in March fellow comedian Jordan Klepper would be joining the cast.

Che will join Klepper, Lewis Black, Jessica Williams, Aasif Mandvi, Samantha Bee, Jason Jones, John Hodgman, Al Madrigal, Kristen Schaal and Larry Wilmore to round out the news team below host John Stewart.

The New York City native has been gaining momentum over the past few years working the city’s comedy circuit.
