TLC slams Rihanna for constant nudity, Rihanna responds

theGRIO REPORT - T-Boz and Chilli of TLC recently slammed Rihanna for some of her revealing outfits.

Luther Vandross was outed as gay after his death.

Rihanna was recently named ‘Fashion Icon of the Year’ at the CFDA Awards Monday, but not everyone seems to think she deserves that title.

Among the critics are T-Boz and Chilli of TLC who slammed the pop star for some of her scantily-clad styling choices.

In a recent interview with an Australian TV show, T-Boz said: “Every time I see you, you don’t have to be naked.”

“It’s hard for us to say anything because any time we do, they say, ‘Oh, TLC must be jealous,’ but it is what it is,” T-Boz added. “I call a spade a spade. We became the biggest selling girl group with our clothes on, and that says a lot. It’s easy to sell sex. We could go around with booby cakes all day long.”

In response, Rihanna took to Twitter and changed her background photo to a topless image of TLC.

She then published a series of subtweets, including one with a caption that read: “When there’s no changing the fact that I’m me, and they’re well…they’re them.”

The “Diamonds” singer was also recently criticized for an ad that was released promoting her new perfume, “Rogue.”

In the image, Rihanna is seen wearing nothing but underwear as she sits on the floor with her legs raised and propped against a large bottle of perfume. The ad has since been banned in the UK for being too “sexually suggestive.”
