Malia Obama celebrated her sweet sixteen on Friday, July 4, as the nation witnessed fireworks and American flags waving for Independence Day.
The oldest of two daughters, Malia started her birthday celebration earlier this week with a trip to Disneyland with a friend, reports E! Online.
The teen recently attended her first prom in May and had the opportunity to work on the set on CBS’ upcoming new series Extant, starring Halle Berry, in June.
It’s shaping up to be a busy summer for Malia. She is also set to begin driving now that she is eligible for her learner’s permit in Washington D.C.
