Luther Vandross was outed as gay after his death.

Ladies (and gentlemen), this is something you have got to see!

No matter what angle you approach this from, it is quite clear makeup can literally transform a face. It’s a craze going around right now that you don’t want to miss, or you will be cheated some laughter in your life.

It even has its own hashtag, #makeuptransformation, basically unveiling the mystery of makeup, but also showing all of us that everyone is a diamond in the rough.

It wasn’t until just recently, in the last ten years or so, that professional grade cosmetics were available and affordable for us to play with like this.

Tutorials on how to properly apply cosmetics, how to use all of those weird brushes in your makeup kit, and how to contour your face like Kim Kardashian are highly popular on video hosting sites like YouTube.

Makeup used to be a mystery, best left in the hands of pros and usually requiring ladies that didn’t want to wind up looking like a sad raccoon to pay some pretty pennies at a salon.

Today, however, many people can their own makeup just like the pros. Just don’t confuse the kabuki brush for a blush brush. You may wind up with clown-like circles on your cheeks. And if you’re looking for the best foundation for your face, then you may consider getting makeup products from sites like https://tartecosmetics.com/shop/tarte-talk/best-foundation-for-combination-skin.html.

Contouring, shadowing, highlighting, bronzing … all on a properly primed face of foundation, of course. What about the application of false eyelashes, or falsies … anyone? This stuff isn’t a joke — it’s real work — and although most women don’t actually run the entire gamut of layer upon layer of application in the morning before work, it’s still eye-opening for the men in this YouTube video about how much is required of women these days.

Taking it another step, some guys with a pretty awesome sense of humor have agreed to put their girlfriends’ makeup on for them in a series of videos that are also spreading like wildfire.

Add one guy without a clue to a girl with loads of makeup, mysterious brushes, sponges, liquids, powders, and waxy substances equals out to quite a giggle, as you may see here: #myboyfrienddoesmymakeup

The expressions on these guy’s faces when they get a load of all the stuff a girl is wearing is priceless.

“You draw this around your eye?” says one, suppressing gigantic guffaws. “Seriously, you actually draw a line around your entire eye … like this?” as he proceeds to make an attempt at a fine black line.

It winds up looking like a two-year old took a crayon to his girl’s face, but hey, maybe he has a newfound appreciation for why it takes so long for her to get ready before they go out. When he gets to the eyelash curler, he suppresses a scream of fake horror. “What IS this thing?” he squeals.

“You just squeeze it on my eyelashes, and they curl,” his girlfriend nonchalantly says.

“And they… stay on? They don’t all get pulled out?” he asks incredulously.

“Yep” she says and then bats her eyelashes at him. This particular fellow never did work up the courage to actually give the torturous looking device a try. Little does he know that almost every tween, teen, and grown up gal in the country possesses one of those things in her makeup supplies.
