Queen Bey is the world’s most powerful celebrity, topping this year’s Forbe’s Celebrity 100 list, and arguably the world’s most influential person, rocking the cover of Time Magazine’s ‘100 Most Influential People of 2014.’
The “Drunk In Love” singer and hubby Jay Z shared the top spot of Billboard’s 2014 Power 100 list.
Last December, Bey dropped a secret album, entitled Beyoncé, sending fans worldwide into a frenzy and reestablishing industry rules.
The self-titled album became the fastest selling LP in iTunes history, selling 617,000 copies in the first three days, and shot straight to the top of the Billboard charts, marking the performer’s fifth number-one album in a row, a record for a female artist.
In the past year, she has sold out her Mrs. Carter Show World Tour as well as the On The Run World Tour alongside Jay Z.
While her career was flourishing, her personal life hit a couple bumps. Following this summer’s infamous elevator fight involving her sister Solange and husband Jay Z, rumors surfaced of a troubled marriage and potential future split for the couple, but in the past couple weeks, the duo has done their best to put those rumors to rest.
They appeared together at the MTV Video Music Awards Aug. 24 with their daughter, Blue Ivy, and after her 15-minute performance, husband and daughter joined her on stage as she accepted the Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award.
The pair also cuddled up at the Made In America music festival in Los Angeles Aug. 30.
The queen and Jay Z are set to finish up their On The Run World Tour September 13 in Paris.
Thirty-two was a huge year for the superstar, and here’s wishing an even better 33!
