Rapper Waka Flocka has been arrested at Atlanta Hartsfield Jackson Airport Friday morning.
The rapper was charged with “carrying a weapon in a prohibited place” after security found a handgun inside his carry-on bag, according to Atlanta police spokesman Ralph Woolfork.
Flocka, whose real name is Juaquin Malphurs, did not have a weapons permit. He was later transported to Clayton County jail.
This is not the rapper’s first run-in with the law. In 2011, the Atlanta rapper was booked on multiple charges, including gun and drug charges.
This week, Flocka released the cover art for his third studio album Flockaveli 2. No release date has been set.
