An Atlanta couple put their 2-year-old son’s life in jeopardy. William Chester Hickson and Jasmin Briana Moore were arrested and charged with cruelty to children after the couple gave their son a cocktail of Coke and 40 proof brandy, police said.

According to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, authorities discovered that the boy’s blood alcohol content was 0.29, which is more than three times the legal limit for adult drivers in the state of Georgia.

The child apparently drank until he was unresponsive. He was rushed to a children’s hospital in Atlanta. According to the arrest warrant, the couple made their son a mix of Coca-Cola and 40 proof Paul Mason Brandy.

Police arrested the child’s father on Monday and later caught up with the mother the following day. They are both being held on separate $75,000 bonds.
