Sonny Forriest, Jr. is well-known for singing outside Eagles and Phillies games, but Sunday night was a different story.

The military veteran and Philly native told several Philadelphia TV stations he was robbed of his prosthetic leg during Sunday night’s nationally televised game between the Eagles and Giants. According to Forriest, a “twenty-something” woman jumped into his lap, broke his microphone and ran away with his prosthetic leg.

The incident happened around kickoff. The unnamed woman, who was wearing an Eagles shirt, initially apologized for breaking the microphone and offered to pay for it.

But then she was suddenly running away with his prosthetic leg, which he sometimes removes when it bothers him.

That night, the prosthetic leg was beside his wheelchair, which the woman easily grabbed.

Fortunately, SEPTA police found Forriest’s prosthetic leg on a subway train later that night and returned it, according to WMAQ-TV.  The video of the woman has not been released. Forriest says he doesn’t want to see her “locked up,” but “talked to” about her actions instead.

No arrests related to the case have been made so far. Here’s video of Forriest, Jr. entertaining a small crowd near the Eagles stadium:
