Several members of the esteemed Harlem Globetrotters recently took over a New York City  ‘7’ train to give subway riders a treat.

The team known around the world for their unique basketball stylings decided to take the train from Queens to Times Square to celebrate the end of training camp.

Subway passengers were completely shocked but gladly welcomed the team on board, spinning basketballs and taking part in tricks.

If the surprise subway performance takeover feels at all familiar to you, that’s because it is.

Two months ago, the cast of Broadway’s The Lion King took over a New York subway car for a surprise performance, in a video which has already racked up more than 8 million views on YouTube.
