Will Smith’s 2005 hit Hitch will get its TV spin-off 9 years later.

Entertainment Weekly has confirmed that Fox has ordered a new comedy series based on the romantic comedy.

Smith, who starred as Alex “Hitch” Hitchens in the movie, will executive produce the project along with his wife Jada and others from Smith’s production company Overbrook Entertainment.

The show will be a half-hour, single-camera “workplace comedy that explores dating and sexual politics” and will follow the movie’s professional dating consultant, Alex “Hitch” Hitchens, played by Smith.

Hitch has earned nearly $370 million worldwide since its release. The film co-starred actress Eva Mendes.
