VH1’s Love & Hip Hop cast member Yung Berg was arrested Tuesday night for allegedly brutalizing his girlfriend.
TMZ reports that 30-year-old rapper/producer was arrested for allegedly beating up his girlfriend and charged with “obstruction of breathing.”
Yung Berg and his girlfriend were at the Gershwin Hotel on East 27th street in New York City when they got in an argument in which he allegedly grabbed her by the neck, threw her to the floor, dragged her by her hair and hit her in the face.
When cops came, the woman had bruises and complained she was in pain. He’s currently in custody.
theGrio reached out to VH1 to see if the network plans any disciplinary action against Yung Berg and has yet to receive a response.
