Rapper Bigg Paybacc shot and killed in McDonalds
On Thursday, an unknown individual opened fire in a McDonald’s and shot and killed LA rapper Habib Ameer Zekajj, known as Bigg Paybacc.
The Los Angeles Times reported that the gunman shot the rapper, who was eating alone, execution-style, putting one round in his torso. Investigators still do not know the motive behind the shooting but do not think it was random.
According to the LA County Sheriff’s Department there was no altercation. They told TMZ:
“This guy just walked in through one door, shot him and left out another door. So it looked like something personal. He had something against this individual. It wasn’t like he shot up the McDonald’s. He just shot him and left.”
Between 15 and 20 patrons were also present at the McDonald’s, and some reported that there did not seem to be a confrontational exchange between the two prior to the shooting. On Friday morning, with the yellow police tape gone, the McDonald’s reopened.
