Solange Knowles recently tied the knot with director Alan Ferguson on Sunday in New Orleans. The couple were married at Holy Trinity Church and were photographed riding to the wedding on white bicycles. The November 16 ceremony took place in front of about 200 friends and family members, including Beyoncé, Jay Z, Blue Ivy, and Tina Knowles.

An onlooker described the newlyweds to People as “Beaming. Calm. They looked pretty calm, relaxed on their wedding day. Definitely happy.”

The 51-year-old Ferguson has directed videos for John Legend, Katy Perry and Beyoncé.
Knowles has been notably low-key about the couple’s relationship and wedding plans. She shared a picture of her and Ferguson on Instagram in July with the caption, “Boyfriend took this of me the other night when we got home from dancing. I was happy. I am happy here.”

This is the 28-year-old Knowles’ second marriage; she was previously married to Daniel Smith from 2004 – 2007. Her 10-year-old son, Daniel Juelz, was in attendance at the wedding.
