A 60-year-old Florida man was arrested after impregnating a 12-year-old girl.
Walter Johnson of Jacksonville was charged with three counts of sexual battery on a person under 18 years of age, reports MyFoxMemphis.
Johnson called 911 when he found out the girl was pregnant and threatened to kill himself. He was arrested shortly after making the call and has since denied having sex with the girl.
The young girl told police Johnson had performed multiple sexual acts on her.
Johnson told officials he was bipolar and schizophrenic.
On New Year’s Eve, a test confirmed the girl is pregnant. She is currently undergoing counseling and is in the care of her family.
