HLN’s Nancy Grace may have met her match this week when she decided to have rapper 2 Chainz join her on a discussion about the merits and potential drawbacks of legalizing marijuana.
On Tuesday night, Grace used her usual brand of brash talk to make an argument against the legalization of the drug — at several points trying to use the rapper’s public persona and fame as ammunition against him.
2 Chainz (born Tauheed Epps) graduated from Alabama State University with a 4.0 while on a basketball scholarship and appeared completely nonplussed by Grace’s attempts to use one extreme story of a bad parent letting their child smoke weed to characterize all weed smokers.
Within minutes, the debate become heated — so much so the rapper called her out for rudely interrupting him while he was making a point. What resulted was a gloriously entertaining exchange that none of us saw coming.

Eventually, 2 Chainz’ charm (and refusal to fold) got the best of Grace, causing her to break a smile and even joke about getting him some coffee.
