Apple’s new beta of OS X was just delivered to developers and comes with brand new emojis. And while the new images range from country flags and family group emojis, the most interesting change is the new skin tone pallet.

In the new emoji set, any emoji that looks like a person can be changed to update the skin tone by clicking and holding.

The changes are possible because of a Unicode standard change that allows for a “skin tone modifier” that users can use to find an emoji that more accurately reflects themselves.

Although the release date has not yet been set for iOS 8.3 or OS X 10.10.3, a public beta program will reportedly begin in mid-March.
