Bobby Brown appeared on the Queen Latifah Show today during a segment that was recorded before his daughter Bobbi Kristina was found unresponsive in a bathtub.

On the show, Brown, 46, talks about his daughter, saying “she’s doing really well.”

There was a brief warning at the beginning of the show, telling viewers it was “previously recorded,” but throughout the show, it was not apparent to viewers that it had been pre-recorded, reports The Daily Mail.

In what some are calling bad taste, it is still unclear why Sony Pictures chose to air the episode on affiliate stations around the nation.

Bobbi Kristina has been in a coma at an Atlanta hospital since she was found unconscious January 31. The 21-year-old’s late mother, Whitney Houston, died in a eerily similar situation in February 2012.

Brown talked to Queen Latifah about his daughter’s singing and promoted his BBQ sauce.

“Working on her music, I’m so proud of her. I am so proud of her. She has the voice of her mother and the legs of her father.”

Queen Latifah’s talk show was cancelled in December, but new episodes are scheduled to air through March.
