Why did hosts of The Real dress “Mexican” for a food segment?

Recently, the hosts of the daily Fox talk show The Real dressed up in sombreros, ponchos, and fake mustaches to make some Mexican-inspired food.

The segment started off with Tamera Mowry-Housley declaring “everyone loves a good quesadilla!” — and it was pretty much downhill from there.

One would hope that a panel comprised of women of color would be more sensitive to this sort of ethnic stereotyping and mockery — but unfortunately, that wasn’t the case.

The only person who seemed to show any remorse was Loni Love, who appeared underwhelmed by the whole ordeal.
