Kanye West has previously admitted that when Roc-A-Fella Records founders Dame Dash and Jay Z split up, he chose Jay because he knew Hov could do the most to help his career — a decision he’s at times felt guilty for.

Now, it seems that West and his original mentor have staged a reunion of sorts.

This week, in a series of Instagram videos, Dash announced that the duo will be purchasing Karmaloop; a streetwear e-commerce site that has filed for bankruptcy protection.

Dash also hinted that the two have much more in the works.

So, you know, we just about to do some new s**t. Just stick together culturally. Take over the world. Create a whole new industry. You know what I mean? And just play the game fair. Honorable people stick together. So, this is how the generations do. Now he’s super-famous. And we linking up. And we decided to go buy Karmaloop. We just talked about it. And it’s gonna happen. And a couple of other cool things. We ain’t doing no music unless that’s for fun

This week, Dash also revealed that he hopes to “put Complex out of business.”

“I’m gonna put Complex out of business for f*****g with me,” he said. “I don’t like them. It’s a war between me and them. We’re going to do that. Me and Kanye are going to snatch that up real quick.”
