Detroit mother who killed her two kids in freezers: No remorse

theGrio REPORT - The Detroit mother whose children were discovered in a freezer says she does not "regret any of it."

The Detroit mother whose children were discovered in a freezer says she does not “regret any of it.”

“”I do not feel any remorse for what I did to Stoni,” said Mitchelle Blair as she described the abuse she put her daughter, Stoni, through before killing her. She admitted to putting a bag over Stoni’s head until she lost consciousness and to throwing scalding water onto her daughter and hitting her “over and over” in the head.

She said that she meant to kill Stoni. “If I had a chance to do it again, I would,” she said.

As for her son Stephen, she did not mean to kill him but did mean to do him serious bodily harm.

“His skin came off,” she said as she described how she threw scalding water onto Stephen, including on his genital region. She also kicked him, punched him and put a bag over his head. She admitted as well to lifting him up by the neck with a belt.

Although Blair claimed that she was protecting her youngest son from abuse by the older two, there was no evidence to support those claims of abuse.

“I have two children,” Blair said. “That’s it. Stephen and Stoni are demons, period.”

“I don’t feel no remorse for the death of them demons,” she said.

She pleaded guilty to one count of first-degree murder for Stoni’s death and one count of felony murder for Stephen’s death.
