theGRIO REPORT - A 44-year-old Ohio woman was arrested for misuse of 911 after she called the emergency number to complain about the service and food at a local Chinese restaurant.
A 44-year-old Ohio woman was arrested for misuse of 911 after she called the emergency number to complain about the service and food at a local Chinese restaurant.
“It’s not up to par to me,” Tracey McCloud said of the food at the Main Moon Chinese Restaurant.
She asked the staff for a refund of her money, but when they refused, she decided more drastic measures were necessary.
“I asked to get my money back and they acting like they don’t understand me and they took my food,” she explained to a stunned dispatcher, who asked her if that was the actual reason for her call.
“What am I supposed to do? Jump over the thing and beat ’em up and get my money back?” replied McCloud.
Police were dispatched to McCloud’s location not to fix the food problem but to arrest her for misuse of the emergency number.
