Drake channels Miley Cyrus, Oprah, Kanye, Obama and other A-listers in 'Energy' video

On Friday, rapper Drake dropped the new music video for Energy, off his mixtape If You’re Reading This It’s Too Late.

The unexpected visual makes one thing abundantly clear – a little make up and a lot of special affects can go a long way.

In the clip directed by Fleur & Manu, Drake parodies a bevy of pop culture A-listers including (but not limited to): Kanye and Kim in the Bound 2 video, Oprah during her infamous Tom Cruise couch jumping interview, and Justin Bieber in his sexy Calvin Klein ad.

“I got enemies,” he announces as President Barack Obama, from behind a podium. Then he’s O.J. Simpson behind the wheel of a white Bronco, and after that he’s LeBron James getting the Cavs pumped up.

Most notable of Drizzy’s transformations is when he recreates Miley Cyrus in her Wrecking Ball video. At times the disguises are so clever – it takes a moment to even realize there’s a trace of him in there.

“It’s shocking, it’s beautiful, it’s a lot of things,” Drake told Beats 1 host Zane Lowe while introducing the video.
