Fresh off the release of the Black Lives Matter anthem “Hell You Talmbout,” Janelle MonĂ¡e and her Wondaland counterparts threw a free concert on Saturday in Washington, D.C.

The concert was only advertised on social media and took place after MonĂ¡e, Jidenna and other artists led a rally through the D.C. area, including the Justice Department.

Monae also performed on the Today Show Friday, but she was cut short when she began to talk passionately about Black Lives Matter.
