Kim Kardashian and Kanye West have won their $440,000 settlement against YouTube co-founder Chad Hurley, who secretly shot their engagement and then leaked the video of the momentous occasion online.

According to the suit, Hurley had been able to manipulate his way into AT&T Park in San Francisco in 2013 in order to see the proposal and had then leaked the secretly obtained footage online despite the fact that he had signed a confidentiality agreement. The engagement footage was posted to MixBit, an app that Hurley had helped to found.

Hurley had reportedly been in dire financial straits at the time after having invested into two flops following the sale of YouTube to Google. He had founded MixBit, an app that edits videos on smartphones, and had also invested in US F1, which was supposed to get into Formula One circles but could not produce a viable car in time.

In order to get the case against him dismissed, Hurley will be required to pay the settlement money within the next few days.
