Chrissy Teigen has been forced after epic backlash to apologize for her comments saying that there would be “no hot nannies or maids” in her home once she and husband John Legend have kids.

“Just like low carb diet of licking chips, my ‘no hot nannies’ comment was a joke, clearly lost upon many. what is life. why must i type this,” she wrote on Twitter. “I don’t just go into random rants about hot nannies. The post asked, I jokingly answered. It isn’t that f—king deep.”

The comments in question came just a few days ago when Teigen joked to reporters that she would have to lay down some rules in her household about who could be hired. “No hot nannies, drivers, or maids,” she said. “It’s an ongoing joke in my house. I do want to have kids one day, so it’s something that I have to think about. But the rule is no hot nannies. I trust John, but you never know with these men.”

“These days, it doesn’t really matter what you look like — sometimes cabin fever just strikes and men do the do,” Teigen said, then joked about her own assistant. “It’s too late for me, though, because I have a hot assistant.”
