The Late Late Show‘s James Corden was more than a little nervous when the blind Stevie Wonder got behind the wheel of a car and insisted he could drive.

Of course, that was all part of the fun of Corden’s show’s segment, “Carpool Karaoke,” in which Wonder came and sang his own songs.

Aside from the hilarious opening, in which Corden was frustrated with Wonder’s lack of a driver’s license and Wonder shot back with a great British accent impression, there were some really powerful singing moments in the segment.

Corden just loved Wonder’s singing so much that he even had the famous singer call up his wife to serenade her with “I Just Called to Say I Love You,” which moved the host to tears.
