Two white men in Brooklyn get into heated argument over 'white privilege'
In a moment that can only be described as deeply ironic, earlier this week two white men in downtown Brooklyn got into a heated street argument after a man pushing a stroller bumped into a jogger.
In a moment that can only be described as deeply ironic, earlier this week, two white men in downtown Brooklyn got into a heated street argument after a man pushing a stroller bumped into a jogger.
Normally, there would just be a quick apology followed by both parties going their separate ways; however, the jogger took offense to something the man with the stroller said, and the two quickly escalated into a loud war of words.
The incident was gleefully captured mid confrontation by a passerby across the street.

In the clip, the jogger can be seen yelling, “The only reason white people like you are living here is because I settled this f—ing neighborhood for you!”
“White privilege! White f—ing privilege!” the jogger continues later on. “You pushed your stroller right into me, and all I say was ‘excuse you,’ and then you said, ‘f–k you f–k you!’ You f—ing white trash!”
What has makes this video most notable is that the accusations of gentrification and privilege — hot buzzwords often uttered by black Brooklyn residents, are being directed from one white man to another. All this occurs while a black man who appears to be a police officer (or a traffic cop) is standing between the two men.
Some have speculated whether the moment of rage is real or some satirical performance art being put on for passersby. Given that it took place in New York — anything is possible.
