In light of the rape allegations that have tarnished Cosby’s legacy over the last year, Thompson says a lot of incidents that he previously brushed off now take on a whole new meaning in hindsight.
The actor says there were “little indicators” about Cosby, recalling one peculiar conversation he had with the comedian when they were working together on the Fat Albert movie.
“Life is good in the movies or whatever, but you just be ready,” Thompson recalled Cosby saying. “Because when this movie comes out, you’re going to need two [cocks] because the women are going to be all over you.”
The audience reacted to this admission with a mixture of laughter and surprise.
“I’m sorry, Dr. Huxtable, what was that?” Thompson joked to Meyers, attempting to keep the mood light.
