Denzel Washington is coming to the small screen to direct the ninth episode of the latest season of Grey’s Anatomy.
Washington has previously directed films like Antwone Fisher in 2002 and The Great Debaters in 2007, but this will be the first time that the acclaimed actor and filmmaker will be directing for television.
According to TVLine, this exciting development may be largely due to the influence of Debbie Allen, the executive producer and director for Grey’s Anatomy, as Allen and Washington are reported to be good friends.
