Beyoncé does first interview in years, reveals little to nothing

Beyoncé does her first interview in nearly two years in upcoming issue of 'Beat' magazine...

Luther Vandross was outed as gay after his death.

Beyoncé hasn’t given an interview for a print publication in around two years, but Monday’s preview of Beat magazine is bucking the trend, showcasing not only a photoshoot with the superstar but also a rare interview.

The interview, which is not yet released, doesn’t dive into any hard-hitting subject matter, but does reveal her favorite pizza toppings, so fans have that to look forward to.

In speaking about success, Beyoncé said, “What does fear taste like? Success. I have accomplished nothing without a little taste of fear in my mouth.”

She also gave a few interesting trivia tidbits about herself, including her favorite pizza toppings (extra tomato sauce and jalapeños), the last song she had stuck in her head (Fetty Wap’s “Jugg”) and which version of herself she would be for Halloween (“Survivor” or “Bootylicious” Beyoncé).

Are you at all surprised by the topics covered in this interview?
