According to TMZ, Khloe Kardashian and Lamar Odom are calling off the divorce.
Kardashian’s lawyer, Laura Wasser, reportedly asked a judge to withdraw the divorce papers on Wednesday. Although both Odom and Kardashian had signed divorce papers back in July, it was later discovered that a judge had not yet ruled on their case. This left Kardashian making medical decisions for Odom after he was discovered unconscious in a Nevada brothel, because she was still technically his wife.
Kardashian has been reportedly by Odom’s side ever since his hospitalization and will remain with him after he had been transferred to Los Angeles for further treatment.
The decision to call off the divorce comes one day after Kardashian released a statement concerning the past week, saying, “The past week has been incredibly difficult. I am so thankful to family, friends and fans, who have sent nothing but prayers and well wishes to Lamar. I also want to take a moment to thank everyone at Sunrise Hospital, including the amazing doctors and nurses for their kindness and diligent work. Under their amazing care, incredible strides have been made. You can never be prepared for an experience like this, but without the outpouring of love and endless prayers that Lamar has received and the strength I was given from my loved ones, it would have been difficult to endure. Thank you for your continued support. God is great!!!”
