Oprah talks keeping Weight Watchers investment a secret, reveals how much weight she's lost

Recently, Oprah Winfrey made headlines after she invested millions of dollars in Weight Watchers and subsequently made $45 million in a single day, and later made $700 million. In an interview with Ellen DeGeneres, she explained why she decided to invest in Weight Watchers.
“Now had she made one phone call to me,” DeGeneres said on Friday during the interview, starting things out with a joke. “I couldn’t have put $40 million in but I could have put a little bit of money in.”
“No, but we want to stay out of jail,” Winfrey shot back.
Winfrey then said that she wanted to use the Weight Watchers program before she invested any money, and she talked about her success with the company.
“Since August 12 I have lost 15 pounds,” she said. “But I am excited about Weight Watchers being able to bring a healthier more holistic approach for everybody.”
