Luther Vandross was outed as gay after his death.

Love was finally in the air for our favorite Empire assistant Becky Williams.

During last night’s episode, Williams, played by Gabourey Sidibe, got all hot and bothered with a chiseled man named J. Poppa (Mo McRae).

In a brief moment of relaxation, Poppa exclaims, “Damn, you put it on me, girl,” before Becky starts worrying about getting to work on time. After reassuring her that no man can hold her down, the duo resume their passioned love fest, and the opening credits ensued.

The episode’s main focus was Hakeem Lyon (Bryshere Y. Gray) acclimating back to society after being kidnapped — but our favorite new couple made a few more appearances.

Turns out J. Poppa is a rapper under Andre’s (Trai Byers) newly remodeled Gutta Life Records. Short for Job Poppa, a name paying homage to his grandfather and biblical origin, the artist finds his career is in jeopardy when Andre catches wind of the unprofessional affair.

But if you weren’t gagging enough already from that bit, a later conversation between Becky and Jamal Lyon (Jussie Smollett) had us all screaming.

Jamal jokes about Poppa’s “wand” before Becky states, “That wand is hitting it correctly, it is hitting all the walls! Yo, I be so weak in the damn knees, I can hardly stand!”

Talk about a little bit of T.M.I. that we just couldn’t get enough of!

Social media erupted into chaos over the relationship, with #GettinthatBecky trending on Twitter.
