Two Louisiana officers arrested in autistic boy's shooting death
NEW ORLEANS (AP) — Louisiana state police continue to conduct interviews, comb through forensics evidence and review 911 calls along with body camera footage of the shooting Tuesday of a six-year-old autistic boy and his father by officers working as marshals. The boy died and the father was wounded.

The boy died and the father was wounded.
Authorities have arrested two of the four officers involved and they’ve been booked on charges of second-degree murder and attempted second-degree murder in the shooting in the central Louisiana town of Marksville.
The head of Louisiana’s state police, Col. Mike Edmonson, says the two officers are Norris Greenhouse Jr. and Derrick Stafford.
He says body camera footage “is the most disturbing thing I’ve seen.” In terms of more arrests, Edmonson says “We’ll see where it takes us.”
State police have been investigating the Tuesday night death of Jeremy Mardis, who was in a vehicle with his father when pursuing officers opened fire.
Edmonson gave few details of what happened.
