NeNe Leakes sings on ‘The View,’ later slams hosts as ‘mean girls’

NeNe Leakes appeared on ABC's 'The View' and performed a snippet of a song from Broadway's 'Chicago'...

NeNe Leakes is a wife, mother, business mogul, actress and more. But can we add singer to that list?

Leakes sat down with the women of The View earlier this morning to help promote her new gig playing Mama Morton in Broadway’s Chicago.

This isn’t the former Real Housewives of Atlanta star’s first go on stage, having played the evil stepmother in Cinderella: The Musical.

During the segment, the reality star raved about her second wedding with husband, Greg Leakes. Spearheaded by Joy Behar, the cohosts took turns trying to get the real tea behind the divorce ending their first marriage, but Leakes was having none of that.

She then went on add how the other women of RHOA were trying to “imitate the NeNe Leakes brand,” which was greeted by eye rolls and Behar calling her “very modest.” In true shade fashion, Behar then drew comparisons between Leakes and Donald Trump.

Getting one more drag out the way, the women of The View went after Leakes for showing pictures of her home, but not ones with it furnished. Can you all let her breathe?!

Well, as if on cue, the attention finally turned to Chicago, and the Lord answered our prayers by having Leakes let loose some oohs and ahhs from the musical. She was met by applause.

Leakes was not pleased with how the appearance went, however, sharing some choice harsh words in a tweet that has since been deleted.

“Just sat with a bunch of mean girls turning up their noses, looking u up & down as if u don’t belong,” she wrote, “The HATE was so real & SAD.”

What happened?! Well looks like the back and forth between Leakes and Behar might have gotten under her skin a little more than she was willing to let on.

At least we got to get a sneak peak of Mama Morton in action!
