50 Cent is trying his hand at comedy with a new series being launched by Fox, called “My Friend 50.”
The series will be a single-camera documentary-style story following the life of a young woman named Amanda Kramer. Amanda herself will be the narrator as she tells the story of joining 50 Cent’s entourage, believing that such an adventure would be the key to solving all the problems of an unstable twentysomething’s life.
50 Cent will be executive producing alongside Will Packer and will star occasionally in the show as a fictionalized version of himself, shown through Amanda’s eyes as her journey with his entourage progresses.
